This can mean a whole lot of things to different people. We at Tri Nutrition want to create a space where we can meet, connect with, follow and support those Living Well with IBD and learn from each other 🙂 .  Seeing how others can Live Well with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis inspires us to also build courage, strength and faith in ourselves to Live Well, too. To us, Living Well with IBD means living as best that we possibly can with where we currently are in our journey right now.

Tri-Nutrition’s “Be Inspired” campaign has been designed to:

  1. Raise awareness of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
  2. Spotlight international Leaders Living Well with Crohn’s and colitis: share their story, their top tips for others with IBD, and offer a way to connect and follow them (as a virtual ‘mentor’ and inspirator).
  3. Provide a dose of positivity, “light” and inspiration to the often very negative, difficult, emotional and life-changing events that someone with IBD experiences.

Still out of the gym for the next few days, but I figured I would post some motivation for myself and for others. The picture on the left is from January 2010 after about 4 months of lifting, believe it or not. I thought I actually had muscle at this point in time 😂😂😂, I weighed about 150lbs. The picture on the right is from just a few days ago at around 200lbs even. You definitely can reach your goals naturally – it will just take a lot of time, sleep, good food, supplementation, and hard, consistent training. However once you have built this muscle, nothing can take it away from you…not even disease or sickness. Get after it! #Motivation #Transformation #NaturalProgression #NaturalBodybuilding

The Importance of Thinking Outside The ‘Crohn’s’ Box and 3 Ways to do it NOW!

Living with the diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease can feel sometime’s like you’re living in a box.

It can feel like there’s restrictions everywhere:

1) what foods you can and can’t eat,

2) what activities you have or don’t have the energy for,

and 3) where you can and can’t go based on washroom accessibility.

Sometime’s the thoughts around Crohn’s can feel overwhelming and that your life is closing in on you.

You look on Facebook and Instagram and see all of the things your contacts are doing and you feel like somehow you missed out. It’s not fair. You want to do all of those things too!
